TRAINING / CLASSES HELD WITHIN OUR DIVISIONS:
Practical Shooting Starter Course (PSSC)
Do you own a pistol but have been feeling a bit unchallenged / unmotivated to shoot at one stationary target at a public or indoor range? Are you proficient with your pistol in terms of safety and manipulation? If so, you may be interested in competing in one of our Practical Shooting Matches!
RSSC proudly boasts one of the largest “Practical” Shooting Clubs in the country. RSSC’s Practical Division has developed a 4-hour program (the PSSC) to encourage, educate and shoot with (yep, we actually go through 7-8 live-fire shooting challenges) those who want to begin competing. If you are interested in getting into the fun and challenging sport of Action Shooting, please click here for the PSSC. We look forward to shooting with you!
Women's Practice Matches
Ladies, have you been looking for a place to practice your pistol skills? Do you enjoy shooting outdoors? Would you like to meet and shoot with other women who also enjoy shooting?
If so, we would love to have you join us for our monthly “practice match” sessions! We have a great group of women shooters, of all skill levels, who meet once a month to practice their pistol skills. It’s a great way to keep in touch with your handgun and gain confidence and experience. And did we mention it’s a lot of fun, too!
